Overview
It’s all about the views at this contemporary hidden hideaway in Penzance. Sleeping six, with off-road parking for three cars, this Cornish stay is tailor-made for gatherings of family or friends. Dogs are welcome at this sought-after Cornish hideaway, too.
A high-spec reverse-level holiday rental, there are wide-angle sea views over Mount’s Bay and St Michael’s Mount from the open-plan first-floor kitchen and living room (and the showstopping south-facing balcony that extends out from them) while the decked patio downstairs comes with optional use of a six-person hot tub that’s perfectly positioned for catching sunsets over the sea.
Also downstairs is a private lawned garden and three bedrooms – a king-sized master bedroom and two doubles. On sunnier days, it’s all about beach-hopping and barbecues (you’ll find one provided). Should the weather turn, though, there’s a cozy woodburning stove in the living room and superfast Wi-Fi for streaming the latest films.

Things to do
Make the most of the Cornwall treehouse atmosphere by sitting on the balcony with a cup of coffee, or a glass of wine, soaking up the soothing sounds of birdsong and running water as you gaze out over leafy boughs
Head to the galleries and museums of St Ives, or visit landmark attractions such as St Michael’s Mount, Lands’ End and the Minack Theatre for a dose of culture on the doorstep
Go beach-hopping: sandy Porthcurno and surfer hotspot Sennen Cove are among the favourites within 10 minutes’ drive. If you’ve been inspired by Raynor Winn’s The Salt Path and want to stride out between swims, this far-western part of Cornwall is one of the most spectacular stretches along the South West Coast Path
West Penwith, the area around Penzance, is home to some of Cornwall’s best restaurants, bars and cafés. You’ll find recommendations for our favourites in your guest information pack, or ask for suggestions
If your treehouse stay has you craving more opportunities for forest bathing in one of Cornwall’s acclaimed sub-tropical gardens, you’re in luck: one of the best-known local gardens, fern-dappled Tremenheere, is just down the road.
Shop your way around the delis, fishmongers, bakeries & butchers in Penzance then hunker down in your secret hideaway cabin, making the most of the Treehouse’s open-plan kitchen to cook up a Cornish feast
